Chapter Twenty-Two
“Is it sad stories? Was Obbie bad?”
“Do you think your grandfather was bad?”
“No. Then it’s sad. He always seemed a little sad.”
“Yup.”
"I know what it was. I just don't know the stories."
She took off her knapsack and pushed it up fast against the stone, standing it perpendicular to the grass.
“Remember it looked like they couldn’t fit him into the hole? That was funny. I thought we’d have to dig.”
“I thought we’d have to dig.”
