“But you never know, Papoop. You tell stories about Mamie being a partisan in the woods, but you never say much about Obbie. You wouldn’t let him talk. You’d yell at him. You wouldn’t even let him tell Stanoosh.”
“He’d want me to talk when you’re ready.”
“I’m ready now.”
“He’d want me to talk when I’m ready.”
“I heard that man say Obbie dropped grenades on the Arabs. Is it that?"
“No. That’s only one story to tell.”
“Ok. Tell me.”
“Your auntie's coming soon with the veil. So this isn't a good time. Later when we go to the place I might talk.”
